The COVID-19 Pandemic brought major global disruption to VANS retail stores.

Historically, around 80% of VANS sales came from in-store, compared to just 20% coming from online platforms. Despite the unprecedented situation, Vans still wanted to increase year-on-year sales and had subsequently increased their revenue target for digital channels, to mitigate the disruption of store sales.
