Munnawar is CMO, Carlsberg Britvic. She leads the Marketing vision, strategy, and activation for the Carlsberg Britvic brand portfolio. She is responsible for consumer insights and innovation including leading the technical packaging, formulation, and business programme teams. She is accountable for a portfolio of iconic brands that includes Carlsberg, 1664, Poretti, Hobgoblin, Robinsons, Tango, J2O and Pepsi. Munnawar joined from Walgreens Boots Alliance in 2023.
With decades of experience working across multinational, large FMCG businesses, Munnawar has a phenomenal track record in driving significant turnaround for brands and businesses. She’s worked for some of the world’s leading brands and companies, from PepsiCo, WBA, GSK, Johnson & Johnson, and was recently promoted to CMO at Carlsberg Britvic, following the successful acquisition. Her passion for mixing innovation and creativity with driving tangible results, has seen her deliver impressive outcomes across each of these organisations. An active ambassador for the marketing discipline, Munnawar is a keen industry mentor, an NED and is a fellow of the Marketing Academy. She plays an active role in championing diversity and inclusion within the business and wider marketing industry and is exec sponsor of the Britvic BeDiverse ERG.
