Journey Further
At the heart of it is the Discovery System - a strategic framework built on the belief that modern discovery is non-linear, with customers moving across search, social, AI experiences, creators and marketplaces before ever choosing a brand. Powering it is the Relative Discovery Score (RDS), a diagnostic that analyses 100+ signals across the platforms shaping a brand's category to track and forecast growth against three dimensions: Found, Understood and Chosen. Rather than starting with a channel or campaign plan, the team starts with the constraint holding a brand back, then builds the right cross-disciplinary intervention across paid, organic, creative, analytics and AI.
Applied across 25 clients, the Discovery System delivered a 34% average improvement in primary performance metrics, with validation showing RDS is 1.7x more correlated with month-on-month market-share movement than share of voice alone. For Gym King, the approach drove an 89% improvement in revenue year-on-year at improved ROAS, after RDS identified the true growth constraint and refocused activity accordingly.
Behind the results is a specialist team that has grown from 12 to 15 people this year, led by VP of Strategy Lydia Hinchliff, who originated the Discovery System, and recently strengthened by Dr Wilf Nelson, whose academic background brings added scientific rigour to RDS modelling.
