How Veridooh’s Independent Verification is Fueling the Growth of PDOOH

Veridooh

For too long, Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising has relied on media owners' self-reporting, raising concerns about independence and data accuracy. This trust gap has slowed industry growth, especially in Programmatic Digital Out-of-Home (PDOOH), where impression multipliers and targeting complexities make transparency even more critical. Veridooh is changing the game.

With its world-first SmartCreative tracking URL, launched in the UK in Q3 2024, Veridooh enables independent, real-time verification of PDOOH campaigns. Advertisers can now instantly track, measure and verify their PDOOH campaigns against the media plan. The impact is undeniable.

For one client in the UK, Veridooh uncovered that only 17.6% of the impression goal was delivered during their first campaign. Veridooh also revealed that, on certain days, some panels ran creatives outside their designated operating hours. Consequently, the DSP delivered an additional 508,255 on-target impressions in the following campaign which not only compensated for the shortfall in the initial campaign but exceeded the original target. The additional delivery resulted in an ROI of 4,014% compared to the verification cost of the second campaign.

Since Veridooh launched in 2019, the Australian OOH market has seen independent verification drive industry growth, becoming one of the largest markets in the world as a percentage of total ad spend. Our success is tied to the industry’s success. In May 2025, we experienced nearly 300% growth in PDOOH revenue YoY, a significant increase in monthly clients, and substantial growth in verified campaigns. These numbers validate that independent verification creates a flywheel effect of trust and growth.
