Client: Stitch Fix & BuzzFeed UK
BuzzFeed’s editorial team leverages trusted and relatable content formats to seed awareness and drive conversion for their affiliate partners. As a trusted authority in the editorial space, BuzzFeed can translate content features to conversions by leveraging a voice built on realism, trust, and authenticity. Whilst Stitch Fix was already a well-established brand in the US, they were just two years in market in the UK and wanted a campaign that could serve multiple parts of the marketing funnel. They tasked Acceleration Partners to: 1: Increase their brand consideration in the UK, specifically driving education around the service and how it works 2: Increase the number of customer conversions via the affiliate channel, measured by ‘First Fix’ orders (when a new customer completes an online style profile and schedules their first delivery). Acceleration Partners introduced Stitch Fix to the BuzzFeed UK team, who developed an aligned proposal to meet campaign goals. The teams collaborated closely to forecast the impact of the activity to ensure Stitch Fix would deliver a Return on Investment from the campaign. The four-month campaign, which launched in July 2021, surpassed the ‘First Fix’ orders target and significantly contributed towards Stitch Fix’s brand consideration goals.
